I don't know how I feel about Black Tied, it's a black with silver glitter... I have Urban Decay's Ammo Palette so this color could be duped with Oil Slick (which I love)....
Bamboo, is probably going back the color doesn't do anything for me.... Its too close to my skin tone and can be easily duped, the same with Satin Taupe.
Swish, just didn't excite me either.
The Golden Nectar High Light Powder is going back also. Swatched on my hand it doesn't look like something that I would want to put on my face...... I like my MSF in Gold Deposit better. Money is tight and I can't keep something if I don't "love it"....

I also stopped by my MAC Counter in Macy's this week to swatch & pick up "Buckwheat" e/s from the Naked Honey Collection because it was out of stock online. Good thing I went b/c I didn't like it! Weird... I usually like everything MAC so instead I grabbed the Naked Honey Skin Salve bc Vanessa, mi E-Esposa (that's E-Wifey for those of y'all who don't habla espanol) kept raving about it & I'm a copy cat! I also grabbed a Style Warrior Lip Glass in "Style Warrior. It's a perfect nude color on me with a hint of shimmer... I think I might try to pick up a back up b/c this LipGlass is becoming HG status...

OMG! I wore my 1st pair of Shisem lashes!!! I'm in love with Shisem lashes!!!! They are light, not heavy feeling!!! I love the dark band, I didn't even need to line my eyes!!!! Guess what I made it back to the Manhattan Club where were staying WITH BOTH LASHES!!!! Y'all know how I always lose lashes in bars......

So as some of you may know I went to a bachlorette party on Thursday and the Wedding was yesterday (Sat. 6/27). It was the best bachlorette party I've ever been too. Cherene the bride has friends from childhood, high school, college, and after. There were about 15 of us and we all got along beautifully... It was amazing I felt like I knew these girls all my life. We all exchanged numbers, emails, & FB's. When we saw each other at the wedding today it was like old girlfriends back together again. A few of them live in NYC so I'll be "Metro Northin' it down to Manhattan. Maybe I'll have some new readers :) We stayed at the Manhattan Club, one of Cherene's friends parents own a timeshare/hotel so we had two rooms on the 17th floor :)

I Finally Got Some.......

Hi Y'all!!! I finally got some DSK Jewelry!!!! I wanted something that would "pop" against brownskin, lol..... So I IM'ed Steph and we discussed the details. Steph is soooo nice!!! She answered all of my questions. I'm allergic to nickel and pretty much anything that isn't made of real sterling silver or high quality gold, and she didn't mind my questions at all and I made a new IM friend :)

I've also been hauling.... Clothes!!! I really have NOTHING to wear.... I spent the last 3 summers with my ex and we rarely went anywhere except for tractor shows *yawn*....
... So in an effort to celebrate my new single playa status I need cute stuff to wear out!!! I have such a problem finding cute going out clothes that fit me... I'm very ummm well endowed in the upper boobie area and my umm cups overflow out of tops.... So since I'm a 14 I can fit into the smallest size of plus sized clothing and that seems to have solved my problem and my retarded brain likes being the smallest plus size..... I know, I'm a werido.....
This haul is all from Great Glam. I love this store! It's my second order from them and there clothes are super affordable! I think all their clothes are between $12-$25, which is fine by me for going out clothes..... I took the pics at a weird angle so everything looks really long, also the neon color wrist bands on the clothes are there so you don't play it cheap and wear their stuff out to the club then try to return them.

I don't know what's up with this dress, they sent to to me for "free" bc I spent over $100.... The tag says that its slightly imperfect, but I can't find any thing wrong with it. I'll hang on to it.....Oh, I also finally gave in and got me some leggings. Yeah like 2 years too late. I've been secretly fighting leggings... I must say, my booty looks kinda cute in them!!!

Been Feeling Neutral....

Hi Y'all.... It's Friday, yeah for the weekend!!! I'm jealous of every single one of y'all who are at the IMATS this weekend. I'm with you guys in "spirit".... I haven't been up to much, trying to save money for my trip to the ATL in July. I'm still trying to set up apartment tours while I'm down there for my family reuions. My goal is to be out of CT by Septemeber *crosses fingers*....

I finally started to depot my MAC shadows!!!! The palette in the pic is one that I bought from Mrs. Kalilia during a drunken stupor (I also bought the 4 colors on the left side of the palette. So far I've only depotted one color. I ordered more empty palettes from MAC during the 25% off sale along with a few pan refill shadows!! What's the point of paying $14 when I can pay $11 and just pop them into a palette.

I also have been pretty good and not buying much. I'm trying to "work" with what I have and practice my technique more. I've been drawn to neutrals lately, I think because it's been raining here on and off for the past 3 weeks..... :(

Since it's been so drab and cold, I've been using my MAC MSF almost everyday and I'm so in love with the fresh and dewy glow it gives me! I know as soon as it warms up I wont be reaching for this as much. I can't do liquid i the summer. I sweat too much, which really sucks because my face is the only place on my body that 'perspires'....

When the sun does decide to make a cameo, I've been lovin' this Sugar Palette that I got from Linda the colors are soo pigmented & vibrant.

That's really it... Not much to report... As my Grandma would say "no news is good news"....

Product Review Benefit Girls Night In & Playboy Bunny is Missing!!!!

Hi y'all! Did everyone have a good weekend? Is everyone staying pretty? I managed to lose another pair of lashes at a club on Saturday, *tear*, usually I manage to lose one lash not a pair. Thank god I carry around MARK The Hookup Mascara in my tiny "bar" purse, it fits perfectly because its so tiny. So I somehow found myself in Sephora on Sunday ok, I went there on purpose. I wanted to swatch the Bare Minerals foundation but the "darkest"shade Deep Dark looked kinda wonky me. Note: Deep Dark does not always apply to dark skinned women >_<.... Us "Deep Dark" woman come in many shades of "Deep Dark" I remembered that I wanted to try the Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liners but I couldn't pick on a shade. Then I saw this....

So of course I wanted to "play" with my new little kit. I decided to try to create a look using only stuff from the set & following the 3 Steps on the back of the packaging... No other colors no other brushes..... Ok I lied I did use mascara......

RESULTS FAIL, EPIC FAIL

The consistacy of the Creaseless Cream Shadow liners are kinda thin and really "spready" <-new word... I kinda expected them to be like a MAC PaintPot, which I usually apply with my ring finger. You definatley need to use a brush to apply these, or a very gentle & light finger. They kinda spread weird too... I'm just not used to the texture. There were smudgies all over the place.

The "line" I drew came out pretty dull & kinda mixed in with the lid color....

Too "FROSTY" looking...

The lipstick that came with the set "Ladies Choice" according to the set claims that "Miraculously, the shade look beautiful on just about every skin tone.

Umm, yeah.... I guess I don't fall into the "just about every skintone group"... If I was a smidge lighter we would of had a winner. I even used a darker liner to "make it work"....

So this faboulous lippie is going to a better home the home of Tammy, since we've started some kinda darkskin/carmel mocha skin doesn't match exchange program......
The kit was $38 at Sephora. I think it's a good deal especially if you want test of the Cream Shadows, they are $19 each at Sephora.
I wanted two so that would of cost me $38, so basically I won & beat the system because I got 2 shades that I like, a brush (which is actually a nice brush), a lippie, 3 cute magnets and makeup bag, that I will probably use for my trip to Atlanta in July.

In other Kendall news. I'm very sad *tear*, the cutest tiniest bunny has been living in my front and backyard for the past few weeks and I haven't seen him in almost two weeks. I love Playboy (I named him Playboy b/c he's a bunny, duh)... I would set on my step and watch him nibble on grass. I even thought about call Child Protective Services on his mama!!! He's a baby, he hardly even has a fluffy tail yet. She like abandoned him. He's so sweet, I got him to come up to me a few times and he keeps me company at night when I go out for a study "ciggie" break....... Here's some pics of my MISSING BUNNY!!!!

I miss him!!! I live in an area with some crazy ass animals that can attack or hurt my sweet little bunny.....

She had me going for a good 10 secs..... Then I remembered the BlogTV episode!!! But it's cute b/c now I have a piece of Ms. Lady L.... ♥

I mean when you buy something from someone your supposed to recieve what you ordered, not from a KT sale, She knows about a few items that have a special place in my little heart... She went & got all romantical on me!! Sending my Srawberry Pocky (strawberry is my fav Pocky!!!, and MELTYBLENDS, I'm trying so hard not to be a fatty and eat them all but even time I eat one I have a Metlyblend-gasm!!! ohhhh oHHHH OHHHHHHHHHH
She also threw in a Pore Pack for my dirty nose :)! People need to not send me stuff that I can't get on my on... Not only did KT get me hooked on little candies and Metlyblends, now I need more of these strips, hell I need on for my whole face.... I'm a little ghetto b/c I missed a little area where I wanted to get and I missed it and I wet it again and used it again so I got 2 in 1 strip!!! She also threw in an Ulta Quad!!! I don't live near an Ulta, like there isn't one in my state!!! There is a rumor that they are going to put in in West Haven, CT. I hope the rumor is true, 40 mins is better than crossing state lines.

Tammy aka Not a Rich Girl also sent me some goodies!!! She received a Yves Saint Laurent Tinted Moisturizer for her bday but it was a little too tinted for her smooth caramel complexion so she forwarded to me, Ms. Dark Mocha Chocolate Brown..... It's a perfect match!!! I've never used a tinted moisturizer before because 99% of the time they are too light for me. It's light smooth and goes on like butter. It kinda reminds me of my L'egere Water Drop Shiny Pearl BB Cream. She also sent me a liquid concealer from Victoria's Secret that she picked up during there big makeup sale that was to dark for her as well.. She also threw in some Shisem Lashes!!!! My first Shisems!!!!!! Oh and an ELF quad, which I've been using everyday since I got it, it has perfect highlight/brow bone colors that suite me well, a Pomogrante Sheet mask, Blamex (which is funny bc I lost mine went I went out last weekend), & of course candies!!!! Meltyblends..... Gummies..... :)

State of CT You Suck!

Warning: This is a total rant/bitchfest entry.....

Hi Y'all!! I've been slacking :( I've been dealing with some "drama" b/c I'm such a "worrier" I'm letting the drama get to me.... I'm really pissed at the State of CT DOL right now. A few weeks ago I got a letter stating that I "knowing made a false claim to receive unemployment insurance for the week ending Nov. 15th. " I was like no I didn't so I filled out the form stating that the info was incorrect and included copies of my time cards and paystubs (I keep everything).... I thought everything would be ok.....
So I get a letter on Tuesday stating that they reviewed my file and my "failure to request or attend a hearing blah, blah.. (I didn't request a hearing b/c I didn't think it was a problem b/c I filled out the form and sent copies of my stuff). THEY SENT ME AN MUTHAFING BILL!!!!!! They also will not give me the BENEFITS THAT I AM ENTITLED TO UNTIL I PAY THE BILL or they "deduct" it from my account. They also let me know that I "committed a MISDEMEANOR" & a bunch of BULLSH!@T legal crap and penalites that they want to charge me with. I didn't collect any money that was not owed to me! My last day of work was NOVEMEMBER 2, 2008!!!!!!
So I took my behind down to the office and tried my best not to act "ignat", because I'm mad as hell at this point! There are times and places to act "ignant" but seriously not a the Unemployment office... NO ONE CAN HELP ME!!! They sat me at dirty f-ing computer and had me fill out a form to appeal there decision (which I could of done from home)! The lady told me that if I need more assitance to go down the street to SOCIAL SERVICES!! Thanks b!tch! Do I look like I need FOOD STAMPS!!! I'm not HUNGRY I'm pissed!!! She also gave me list of places where I can get "free legal assistance".... I don't need a f-ing lawyer to say that my last day of work was Nov. 2nd and I didn't make a false claim for the week of Nov. 15th!!!
I'm not trying to play the system... I'm not trying to sit on my ass and collect. I've been working since I was 13 (babysitting, summer jobs)... I'm going to school FULL-TIME so when things get better I'll have that retarded peice of paper that makes me 'qualified' to do the same sh!t that I'm already doing.
I called my last employer and they are being really helpful with providing me with the info that I need to prove my last date of employement. Doesn't the DOL check with your employer when you open a new claim??? Why are we talking about some Bullsh!t that from NOVEMBER in JUNE!!! Get your sh!t straight CT!!! I've had nothing but bad luck from the moment I moved to CT.
I pray that my plans to move to ATL at the end of the summer pan out, b/c I have to get the hell out of here. It's like one thing after another....
Oh they sent me a check this week for $25!! The teller at the bank SMIRKED AT ME!!!! Seriously go fug yourself!!!! You work at the Savings Bank of Danbury, you aren't ballin'!!!! Then after he processed it and saw my balance it wasn't soo amusing!
People this is why you cannot depend on anything.... This is why I have savings for a rainy day!!! It's been raining for a while...
I knew things were looking bad a year ago and I pocketed all of my money in my savings account. So when I got laid off in August '08 I was ok... Then when I got laid off agian in Nov. '08 I was ok again. As much as I spend I make sure that I save!!!!
